7th Annual Conference
The Water Footprint of Decision Sciences
Helsinki, May 24th - May 27th, 2016
Clean water has become a scarce resource on the planet. So sweet and salty water is needed everywhere. In many places, drinking water is running out, oceans polluted so that they are no longer able to produce enough food for the growing human population. Also, the industry suffers from a lack of clean water.
This Boat Seminar on the Baltic Sea creates a unique setting to focus on "Water Footprint".
As the Conference fosters interdisciplinary research, we invite contributions from all disciplines relevant to decision making and decision processes, in addition to the conference theme.

The importance of choosing the right academic position will be discussed, along with dos and don’ts of the job search process. This workshop will help doctoral students to effectively initiate their academic careers to ensure productive citizenship in academia.
Doctoral candidates or young researchers interested in attending and presenting their projects should send an extended abstract (3-4 pages) by March 1st, 2016 to the workshop coordinator Dr. Saadat Ali Yawar (sadaat.aliyawar@aalto.fi).
